My name is Freedom and that's my message, I wanna get word spread around about how we've lost our real freedom and we need to take it back. I'm sick of dudes gettin locked up like animals cause they've got plants on em fuck that shit.

I made myself a soundclick page, I'll probably have a real website around later this year but not yet. I'd absolutely love to hear feeedback from people, Whether its positive or negative I'm *always* lovin criticism - Dudes be serious, If something sounds like shit lemme know, There's always room for improvement and everyone knows that. I just started this about a year and a half ago on and off but I've been going serious for the last like 6 months.

I also had http://www.ihiphop.com/japchuc.....ianrecords my old shit I was doing when I first started, Lemme know what you think about that.

NIP Productions on How To Create Your Own Samples (Fantom)

Whats up audio heads. Here’s a video
i did about creating and working with your own samples on the Roland Fantom
using the skip back sample feature but i’m sure it relates to most
workstation/samplers with a real time sample back functions. The video can be
found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v.....annel_page
if you have any questions you can reply to this post and ill do my best to help
you out. Also if your working on a workstation that doesn’t have a real time
sample feature but still has a basic sampling system you can still utilize this
technique though it may take a little more time as there are a few extra steps.

Here’s hows its done on the Fantom.
(these are the basics feel free to experiment)

Play the melody you would like to use as your sample.
It helps to make the sample 4 or 8 bars that way you have an even number
of measures to sample.

Press the skip back sample button. The Assign to Pad
screen will appear.

Assign you sample to a pad.

(optional) You can stretch the sample to fit your tempo
by pressing the F1 (tempo sync) however it wont quantize the sample. Also
note that this will change the sound of the sample you played.

Now press the sample edit button and then the F3 button
to modify the sample.

Here you may want to modify the start and end point of
the sample.

Now you ready to chop the sample. You want to cut the
major parts of your sample and assign them to the pads of your choosing.

Now you can play parts of your sample with the assigned
pads to create new arrangements and more.

I hope this article was helpful, if
you have any questions about any of the steps here simply reply to this post
and I will do my best to help out.
